Welcome to the Sushi Passport loyalty program operated by Sushi Omakase – Roseville ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Sushi Passport app and loyalty program (the "Program").

By enrolling in the Sushi Passport program, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not enroll.

2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use Your Information

4. SMS Text Messaging

By enrolling in the Sushi Passport program and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive automated text messages from Sushi Omakase – Roseville, including:

• •Re-engagement reminders
• •Program updates and promotions

Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the address below.

We use GoHighLevel (a third-party CRM and marketing automation platform) to send SMS messages on our behalf. Your phone number is shared with GoHighLevel solely for this purpose.

5. Advertising and Analytics Technologies

We use the Meta Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), on the Sushi Passport app.

What it collects. The pages you view, whether you enroll in the Program, whether you check in during a visit, and which visit number in your reward cycle that check-in represents. It also automatically receives your IP address and browser user-agent, as any website you visit does.

What it does not collect. We do not send your name, phone number, or email address to Meta.

Why we use it. To measure how our advertising performs, to understand how people find and use the Program, and to show relevant ads to people who may be interested in Sushi Omakase.

The Meta Pixel places cookies on your device. Information collected through it is transmitted to Meta and handled according to Meta's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Your choices. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences, through the Digital Advertising Alliance at http://optout.aboutads.info, or by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings. Opting out does not affect your participation in the Sushi Passport program or your ability to earn and redeem rewards.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share your information with:

Service Providers
Third-party vendors who help us operate the Program, including:

• •Supabase (database hosting)
• •Vercel (app hosting)
• •Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement and delivery — see Section 5)

These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Advertising Partners
As described in Section 5, information about your activity on the Sushi Passport app is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement and delivery. Under California law, this activity may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 7 for your opt-out rights.

Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sushi Omakase, our customers, or others.

Business Transfers
If we merge with or are acquired by another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

Right to Know
You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel described in Section 5 may constitute "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.

We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by California law.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you are an active participant in the Sushi Passport program, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. The Sushi Passport program expires on August 30, 2026. After program expiration, we will retain records for a minimum of 12 months for compliance purposes, after which data may be deleted or anonymized.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission, access controls, and secure database practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Sushi Passport program is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued participation in the Program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
